Flossie May Green went to be with our Lord on August 9, 2020 at her home in Mildred, with her children at her side. She was born June 18, 1922 Edmonton, Alberta Canada to Sheldon Ruby and Ruby Lorraine (Sides) Shuck. She was 15 when the family moved to the U.S.

Flossie enjoyed gardening, hand sewing, embroidery, reading, playing cards, and especially winning. She enjoyed travelling and went on her first cruise at 87 and she loved it but her daughter said "never again".
She met Clayton John Green in 1941 and later on September 21, 1942 they were married in Las Vegas NV. They later had six children. They were living in Kansas at the time, then moved to California, then Arizona and in 1976 moved to Mildred and it was there they settled because their "beautiful daughters" lived here. As time passed then came 17 grandchildren and then came 33 great-grandchildren, and then 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Clayton; parents; son Chuck; and 9 siblings.
Flossie is survived by daughters Caroline May (John), Joyce Hardt, Della Shivers (Jack), son Maurice Green (Margaret), daughter Betty Wilhelm (Ron), sister Reta Evans,17 grandchildren and then came 33 great-grandchildren, and then 14 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons Trae Hardt, Lanny Hardt, John May Jr, Patrick May, Tony Shivers, and Clayton Shivers.
Graveside services will be held on August 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Eureka Cemetery in Eureka, TX with Pastor Michael Howard of Cowboy Church of Ennis officiating. Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced.
