Euin Emmerson Frank, age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Medical City Plano. He was born November 30, 1932 in Bynum, Texas to Ollie Emmerson Frank and Leona Haney Frank.

He graduated from Bynum High School in 1950. He worked for General Motors from 1950-1953. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955 and continued his status with the Army Reserves for an additional 6 years.
Euin married Effie Holland while both were attending Navarro Junior College. He continued to pursue his formal education completing his bachelor’s degree at The University of Texas in Austin in 1959. He accepted his first teaching position in Spur, Texas in 1959. He accepted a teaching position with Corsicana Independent School District in 1960. He furthered his education by earning a master’s degree from Tulane University in 1965. Throughout his career he served as assistant principal, principal and later as assistant superintendent until he retired in 1991.
He was an avid fisherman and charter member of The Corsicana Bass Club in 1969.
He served on the board of the Central Appraisal District, Central Teachers’ Credit Union, Lions Club, and was a member of various other civic organizations in Navarro County.
Euin was preceded in death by both his parents in 1994 and his brother-in-law Charles Messer.
He is survived by his wife Effie, his children; Eric Frank, and Todd Frank and wife Velma; his grandchildren; his sisters, Margaret Messer, Ginger Teer and husband Bob; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Corley Funeral Home. A Celebration of Mr. Frank’s Life is scheduled on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Corley Funeral Home with Mr. Gene Bullard, Sr. officiating.
