A devoted wife and mother, Judy was a great cook, known for her Chicken Enchiladas and Peach Cobblers. Her greatest joy in life was raising her children and then entertaining and spoiling her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by one daughter, Linda Timmerman, and her husband David, residents of Richland-Chambers Lake where Judy has lived for the past year and a half. She is also survived by two sons, Larry Davis and his wife, Kennette, of Rankin, Texas, and Ronnie Davis and his wife Shawn, of Ennis, Texas. Also surviving are grandchildren Brad Timmerman and wife, Terra, of Bryan, Texas; Whitney Davis of Dublin, Texas; and Larke Mata and husband Manny, of Reagor Springs, Texas. She was also blessed with step-grandchildren David Timmerman, and wife Chris, of Denver, Colorado; Vanessa Timmerman Carr, and husband Dale, of Midland, Texas; and Shawn Darnell of Chicago, Illinois. Six great grandchildren will miss their “MeeMaw”: Will Timmerman, Alyssa Carr, Ben Carr, Kyle Timmerman, Jordan Timmerman, Aidan Darnell, and Elias Mata.
The family wishes to express deep love and appreciation to Reliant At Home Hospice, Teague, Texas, and especially Judy Angel, RN, and Erica Lucia, CNA, for their commitment, compassion, and care for our Mom during the past year and a half. We are also grateful to Waxahachie friends, Dwight and Wanice Brown for being such amazing neighbors to Mom and Dad during their time there. They were blessed to have these precious people in their lives.
A Celebration of Life and Funeral Mass will be held on October 11, 2019 at 5:30 P.M. at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Corsicana with Father Ed Monk officiating. Interment of ashes will be a private family service at Wheatland Cemetery in Dallas at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas or your favorite charity or place of worship.
